President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thanked the leaders of the G-7 countries for their support of Ukraine. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the results of the summit confirmed that Ukraine is "among the key priorities of the free world."
"I welcome the clear consolidated message of our partners that the Kremlin should get rid of illusions and conscientiously fulfill its obligations. The conditions are extremely clear: first respect for international law, the cessation of aggression in the Donbas and the return of Crimea to Ukraine. Otherwise the price for Moscow for its aggression against Ukraine and interference in the internal affairs of other states will continue to grow in the future!" he wrote.
We recall that the leaders of the G-7 countries declared their support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
The participants of the summit declared condemnation of the illegal annexation of Crimea.

“I also welcome the G7 recognition of the need to maintain sanctions on Russia in light of Russia’s failure to fully implement the Minsk Agreements in Ukraine. We have agreed to stand ready to take further restrictive measures against Russia if necessary,” May stated.
Earlier, Trump supported Russia’s returning to G8. Giuseppe Conte, Italy’s PM had the same position.
France and Canada spoke against it.
