President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko began his first official visit to the Republic of Slovenia at the invitation of the president of this country. It is reported by the press service of the Head of State.

"The program of the visit of Ukrainian President includes the meeting with President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, Ukrainian-Slovenian talks, chaired by the presidents of Ukraine and Slovenia, on the results of which will be signed a number of bilateral documents", reads the statement.

In addition, Petro Poroshenko will meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Miro Cerar and chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Brglez. The President and the First Lady of Ukraine also plan to meet with the Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovic.

The Head of State will meet with the heads of the leading Slovenian companies, including those that operate on the Ukrainian market. He will also meet with the Ukrainian community and take part in the unveiling of a monument to Grigory Skovoroda in Ljubljana.
