Ukraine's Presidental Administration

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a law on disciplinary regulations of the National Police. He claimed this during the celebration of the anniversary of the National Police.

‘I haven't come emptyhanded. I am going to sing a law on disciplinary regulations of the National Police in your presence. The law determines powers of police officers and their principals, types of encouragement, disciplinary measures and their application. I am convinced that the full implementation of the Charter will bring the Police citizens’ trust and order within the police force. NABU and the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine must abide the Charter,’ he said.

Reportedly, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a law on Disciplinary Regulations of the National Police. 251 MPs voted positively for the law.
