President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the National Council of Reforms signed the law "On privatization of state and municipal property." This was reported by the press secretary of the head of state Svyatoslav Tsegolko on Twitter.
"The president at the National Council of Reforms signed the law on privatization. The aggressor state has no right to take part in it," Tsegolko wrote.
We recall that in January 2018 the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that provides for new rules for the privatization of public and state enterprises. In particular, we are talking about the division into large and small privatization (with the value of assets more and less than 250 million UAH, respectively).
Previously acting chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Vitaly Trubarov stressed that before the law operates, it will be necessary to adopt a number of by-laws regulating the conduct of such privatization.
