Poroshenko signs law on admission of foreign troops to drills in Ukraine

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine signed the law that approved his decision on the admission of the detachment of the foreign armed forces to the territory of Ukraine in 2018 for the participation in the drills. The proper information is stated on the card of the draft law published at the website of the parliament.

The law provides the admission of the foreign troops to Ukraine for the participation in the Ukrainian-American drills 'Rapid Trident 2018' and 'Sea Breeze 2018'; multi-national drills 'Light Avalanche 2018', 'Clear Sky 2018' and Ukrainian-Romanian 'Riverian 2018'.

The document will come into force since the date of the official publishing.

As we reported the Ukrainian parliament adopted this law on January 18. 235 MPs supported the bill, with 226 votes necessary to pass it.
