Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko sent to the Parliament a draft bill, offering to extend the special status of Donbas until the end of the next year. The document is registered on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The document envisages that the special order of local governance will be extended in certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by December 31, 2019.
The special status, however, will only start working when the aggressor country withdraws all illegal armed formations, militants, mercenaries and vehicles from Ukraine.
As we reported, since Tuesday morning, Russian mercenaries attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 34 times. That resulted in casualties among the Ukrainian forces, as one Ukrainian serviceman deceased, and another two more were wounded. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported this on Facebook.
