President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko named 10 major achievements of Ukraine for 2017. The information was posted on the page of the head of state on Twitter.
"The year 2017 turned out to be difficult, but we were able to prove to the whole world that being united, the Ukrainians are capable of great achievements and victories," Poroshenko wrote.
In the video, among the main achievements he named the first flight of the AN-132 aircraft, the holding of the Eurovision music contest in Kyiv, the introduction of a visa-free regime with European countries, as well as the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. In addition, the president recalled the victories of Ukrainian boxing - defending the title of WBO champion by Olexander Usyk and the recognition of Vasyl Lomachenko the best boxer of the year.
Among other victories Poroshenko also called the participation of Ukrainians in the Invictus Games, implementation of pension, medical and educational reforms, large-scale road repairs, the release of Ukrainian hostages and the strengthening of the Ukrainian army.
