President Petro Poroshenko signed the bill that allows participation of foreign army units in the military drills in Ukraine, which are slated for 2017 – including Sea Breeze 2017 and Rapid Trident 2017.
The respective message showed up at the website of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament.
On January 19, 236 MPs supported the bill, with 226 necessary to pass the decision. The day after that, Andriy Parubiy, the Parliamentary speaker, signed the document.
Since spring 2014, Ukrainian troops have been gaining valuable experience not only in the combat area of Donbas, but in the multi-national contingents practicing during numerous military exercises that annually take place in this country.
