Ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko did not come for the questioning at the State Bureau of Investigation (SIB), as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing his lawyer Ihor Holovan.
According to the lawyer, Poroshenko did not show up for the interrogation as the plenary session was planned at the Verkhovna Rada for that time.
“The SIB does not take into account the calendar of the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada. They should understand that the work of the parliament is the good excuse for non-appearance for the questioning,” Holovan said.
The lawyer took the written evidence of Poroshenko; however, he did not specify for which case this evidence was provided.
Poroshenko ignored the questioning for the third time. He did not come to the SIB on September 3 and 6.
On September 3, ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko did not show up for the questioning at the State Investigation Bureau. Lawyer Ihor Holovan explained the reason for the non-appearance of his client – he is the MP of Ukraine now and works in the session hall.
