The EU's share in the Ukrainian foreign trade is 41% and begins to compensate for market losses of the Russian Federation. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this during a speech on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
"The agreement has already begun to produce results. The EU share in our foreign trade is now already 41%. The EU market slowly begins to compensate for the enormous damage to our Ukrainian economy, in the social sphere, in terms of life, which has caused us by Russia", he said.
Recall that Ukrainians all across the country mark the Day of Dignity and Freedom; the new public holiday was established in 2014 under the decree of President Poroshenko.
