Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine and Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland will meet in Kharkiv on December 13 as the press service of the Ukrainian president reported.
‘The main subject of the negotiations will be the strategic issues of the bilateral political cooperation and the strengthening of the interaction in the security and defense sphere, including in the context of the counteraction to the Russian aggression’, the message said.
The visit of the Polish president will take place on the background of the escalation of the Ukrainian-Polish relations due to some incidents. The last one is the blast of the Polish bus in the Lviv region. Ukraine’s minister for foreign affairs Pavlo Klimkin condemned the act, describing it as a provocation and calling it an attempt to disrupt the upcoming visit of Polish president Andrzej Duda.
