President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis discussed the provision of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 600 million euros in Davos. This was reported by a European official on his page on Twitter.

"It was a good meeting with President Poroshenko about the economy, macro-financial assistance in the amount of 600 million euros, security and visa-free regime. The EU supports Ukraine", wrote Dombrovskis.


Valdis Dombrovskis also welcomed the recent steps by the Ukrainian government to stabilize public finances.
