The fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko denies that former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has ever put pressure on him regarding the case, which involves Burisma Holdings, a gas company of which Biden’s son Hunter was a board member, Politico reports.

My absolutely clear answer: no, never. But I also cannot accept that, neither President Obama nor President Biden — Vice President Biden, nor President Trump, nor Vice President Pence never press[ed] me,” Poroshenko stated.

As we reported earlier, on April 20, a former employee of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States Andriy Telizhenko reported that former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had received a gigantic sum of 200 million dollars for closing a case against Burisma.

Nevertheless, according to Ruslan Ryaboshapka, former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Hunter Biden was found.

I specifically asked prosecutors to check especially carefully those facts about Biden’s alleged involvement. They answered that there was nothing of the kind,” he stated.
