The Ukrainian government should resume talks with Moscow, insisting on the release of Ukrainian hostages in the occupied Donbas and Russia. The head of the state said that at a briefing during his working visit to Odesa region.

'We can neither betray nor forget the captives. This is why I instructed the responsible agencies to resume the negotiations with Russia regarding the release of those arrested in Russia and in the occupied territories of Donbas. Yesterday's release of our hostages is a historical event, it's the second birthday for them all', he said.
