Poroshenko accepts resignation of Presidential Administration Deputy Head

Current president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko accepted the resignation of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kostyantyn Yeliseev as presidential website reported citing Poroshenko’s decree.

“To dismiss Yeliseev P. Kostyantyn from the position of the deputy head of the Administration of the president of Ukraine,” the text of the order said.

On May 16, the date of the inauguration was announced; Yeliseev filed the report on the resignation.

“I am the supporter of such European tradition: the new team comes and we do not hold on to the posts, calmly pass (the cases, - 112.international), prepared all file. I am even ready to put the priorities, which are worth to be worked out, on the table for my successor, whom I do not know yet unfortunately,” he said.

Zelensky, the popular comedian and actor, won the presidential election in Ukraine in both rounds, held on March 31 and April 28. He scored almost 75 percent of all votes, while his opponent, the incumbent President Petro Poroshenko collected 24,25 percent.
