Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker will accompany Mike Pompeo during the Munich Security Conference on February 14 as the U.S. State Department reported.
“While in Munich, Ambassador Reeker will hold bilateral meetings with key Allies and partners to discuss coordination on global challenges, including the need to counter Russia’s aggression against Ukraine,” the message said.
In Paris, Reeker will discuss with the officials of France the enhancing of transatlantic relations for counteraction the challengers for security all over the world.
On February 20, Ambassador Reeker will travel to Brussels where he will meet with the EU officials and employees of the U.S. Mission to the European Union.
As we reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky would participate in the 56th Munich Conference on Security on February 14-15.
It is stressed that the Head of the Ukrainian State will deliver an address at a separate session dedicated to Ukraine and will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of foreign countries.
