U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo criticized the investigation of the Congress Committees within the impeachment procedure of acting President Donald Trump. According to him, all the actions of the State Department were directed into the improvement of relations between the USA and Ukraine's new authorities. The Voice of America reported that.

"The State Department concentrated, by order of the President, on creating the possibilities to build good relations with the government (of Ukraine - ed.)," Pompeo said.

He also noted that Kurt Volker had followed the instructions of Trump.

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump and his aides planned to inform House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that they would not cooperate with the investigation as part of the impeachment process until congressmen vote to authorize the investigation.

The document will indicate that President Donald Trump does not violate the law, ignoring the requirements of lawmakers, since the investigation as part of the impeachment procedure was not formally authorized by voting in the House of Representatives.
