Poltorak and Macierewicz discussed the strengthening of the military and technical cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Poland and the drills of the Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian group.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak claimed that Russia-Belarusian drills can become the beginning of the aggression towards any country of the Eastern Europe.

The joint Russian-Belarusian military drills West-2017 will take place in September. 13 000 of militaries will participate in them. The countries intend to check the capabilities on security provision during the drills.
