The poll that was announced today by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will have no legal consequences. This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.
"The nationwide poll proposed by the President will give every citizen an opportunity to express what is really important for our society so that public opinion can be attested at the state level without its adjustment by various ‘experts’ and politicians with more than 20 years of experience in manipulating people's expectations. That is, the state asks direct questions to society and receives direct answers without intermediaries," the statement said.
According to Zelensky, the voters will be asked five important questions, which will be announced later.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine is going to hold nationwide local elections on October 25.
Nearly 136,000 law enforcement officers will be involved in ensuring the security of the voters.
It is also worth noting that 92,000 citizens of Ukraine changed the electoral address to vote at the local elections.
