The Sejm of Poland adopted a law on readmission between Poland and Ukraine on September 29. The Polish Radio reported this.

According to the information, the law contains the points that regulate the implementation of tasks that aim for deportation of people who illegally stay in the territory of one of the countries.

‘The issue is the list of the checkpoints to accept a person back’, Head of Department on Foreigners Issue Rafael Rogala said.

20 000 of the foreigners were extradited from Poland to other countries within the readmission and other agreements. The majority of them (almost 17 000) came back to Ukraine.

Readmission is mutual liabilities of the states that are stated in the international agreements to accept back their own citizens and citizens of the third countries and persons without citizenship who illegally arrived in the territory of the sides or lost the sides to stay legally in the country.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and Israel agreed on the negotiations on the readmission.
