Jacek Czaputowicz, the Polish Foreign Minister will visit Jerusalem during the session of the Visegrad Group summit this week. He replaces the head of his government Mateusz Morawiecki, as the Prime Minister decided he would not join the session.

Interfax news agency quoted the Polish Embassy, which reported that the Polish Premier will not be coming to Jerusalem. The visit was canceled due to the recent statement by Benyamin Netanyahu who blamed Poles for 'collaboration with the Nazis' during the Holocaust; Moorawiecki himself said this to Netanyahu during the phone conversation.

Later, the Israeli government explained that Netanyahu referred to certain Poles, not the entire nation.

The meeting of Visegrad Group (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) is slated for February 18 and 19.

Earlier, in January 2019, Polish Constitutional Tribunal recognized the terms “Ukrainian nationalists” and “Eastern Małopolska” unconstitutional.
