Polish Foreign Ministry believes that Lukashenko lost legitimacy as president of Belarus

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said that his country no longer considers Alexander Lukashenko the legitimate president of Belarus. He stated this on the Polish radio.

“We cannot consider President Alexander Lukashenko to have legitimacy from a democratic society. This is a completely different subject (of politics - 112 International),” Rau said.

The head of the Polish diplomacy noted that the current Belarusian government has lost its legitimacy.

As we reported before, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is carrying out enhanced security measures on the border with Belarus.

Strengthening the protection of this direction of the state border is carried out with the involvement of additional reserves, including the Dozor units and the canine training center. Air monitoring is constantly provided by border aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles, and Safe Boat 27 boats are additionally used on the water sections of the border,” the message reads.
