Chief Polish diplomat, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz filed a resignation letter, as PAP agency reported.

Earlier, the official claimed he was considering the option of his withdrawal from this office.

The voters' turnout made 68.9 percent, which makes an absolute record in the history of independent Poland.

"You saw this amazing turnout, that's almost 70 percent. The victory in elections under such a turnout is unbelievable news. I'm very touched. Thanks to all my compatriots from the bottom of my heart", Duda said.
