Police received 649 reports of violations during presidential elections

The National Police received 649 applications and reports on violations during the presidential election. This is reported on the Ministry of the Interior Facebook page.

Investigators added 11 reports to the Unified register of pre-trial investigations.

Most of all violations reported in the following areas:

    Donetsk region - 66
    Kharkiv region - 61
    Kyiv - 76
    Sumy region - 50
    Poltava region - 42
    Dnipropetrovsk region - 41
    Odesa region - 39
    Luhansk region - 35
    Vinnytsia region - 26

These facts are mainly related to illegal campaigning (68 cases), voter bribing (20 cases), voting papers damage (19 cases), bulletins photos (42 cases), attempts to take the bulletin out from the polling station (6 cases).

In addition, the police have drawn up 4 administrative protocols.

The election campaign has officially started on December 31, 2018. There are 39 candidates in the ballots and over 35.6 million voters. Over 315,000 of the voters changed the place of the registration for voting.
