Since December 31, the National Police of Ukraine processed 15 administrative protocols, documenting violations of the electoral procedure. The press office of the police reported that on Thursday.
The police employees documented the violations in the appearance of agitation products in the cases observed in 14 regions across the country.
In all cases, the agitation products lacked proper information about the entity that printed these banners, the circulation, the information about owners of these products or the people responsible for the release of these products.
The seized materials will be taken to the court for further decisions to be made. Those behind releasing and distribution of these banners may face administrative responsibility.
The presidential campaign in Ukraine began on December 31, 2018. The elections day is slated for March 31, 2019. As of January 17, eight candidates officially filled in the papers and were registered by the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
