Poland has the right to demand reparations from Germany for damage that was inflicted on the country during the Second World War and has not yet been covered by the German side. This was stated by Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, Radio Poland reports.
"This is a reminder of justice for our country, which was the victim of World War II," Szydlo said.
Prime Minister noted that Germany is yet to compensate for the damages inflicted to her country.
“The reparations were not paid to us later, and even vice versa. Today, speaking of reparations, we remind of justice and the fact that Poland has the right for it,” she noted.
It is noted that at the moment, the bodies of the Polish Sejm are studying the legal possibilities to get compensation.
