Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk met with the ambassadors of G7 countries (USA, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Canada). During this meeting, the key areas of the country's economy were discussed. The official informed about this on his Facebook page.

“Together with fellow ministers we met with the ambassadors of the G7 countries. The focus of the joint work is to support the development of public administration, economic and the energy sector development," the head of government stated.

According to him, these are key vectors of consistent support of Ukraine from the G7 countries.

But the priority is a systemic fight against corruption, Honcharuk added.

He believes that the best response to the aggression of the Russian Federation is to build a successful Ukraine.

The IMF mission arrived in Ukraine for negotiations. Oleksiy Honcharuk said this at a briefing after the Cabinet session.

"Th IMF mission came to Ukraine now, and our colleagues began to negotiate. I think, next week we'll be able to come up with a report on it. So far, it is too soon to speak of any results", Honcharuk said.

The talks will last until September 24.

"Our task is for the IMF counterparts to leave Kyiv with the so-called Staff Level Agreement, a technical level agreement. It concerns launching the program at the end of the year. The task will be completed, I have no doubts about it, and I'm sure that neither Privatbank issue nor any other issue will become a problem. We'll reach the common ground with the IMF on all the discussed matters", Honcharuk said.
