British musician and leader of the legendary Pink Floyd, Roger Waters was listed in the "Myrotvorets" database. His personal card appeared at the "Chystylyshche" (Purgatory) section.

The anti-Ukrainian propaganda, attempt on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and participation in the attempts of the legalization of the annexation of Crimea by Russia were mentioned as the reasons for Waters' listing. The interview of the musician to the Russian newspaper "Izvestia" in which he stated that the Revolution of Dignity in 2013-2014 was organized in Washington and Russia "has all rights for Sevastopol" became the basis for this.

The interview of Roger Waters dated August 27 is dedicated to his Moscow performance on August 31 and titled with the quote: "Do you want to start a war with Russians? Are you crazy?".

When he was asked about the status of Crimea he said:

"I am not good in geopolitics. I know that Sevastopol is really important for Russia and Russians. There are a lot of treaties and document according to which, Russia has all rights for this city. The change of government in Ukraine planned by Washington just provoked Moscow for further actions."

Moreover, he accused Victoria Nuland, the former official representative of the U.S. State Department in the split of Ukraine.

Roger Waters is known for his open expression of the political opinion. Particularly, he supports Palestine in the conflict with Israel and refuses to perform at the territory of the last.

Earlier Russian singer, female anchor and sportswoman Anna Semenovich was listed on the database of Myrotvorets website.
