Peruvian shamans and healers gathered at the sacred mount of Serro San Cristobal in Lima, the country's capital city. They performed the traditional ritual of cleansing, turned to the forces of nature - sun, air, earth and water, asking for serenity in the world politics and for the Covid pandemic to end, writes Еldiario.
The shamans put seeds and flower petals in front of the images of countries' leaders. Singing and dancing followed, as the shamans asked the spirits to put an end to the pandemic in 2022 and to keep the peace between the countries.
Having completed the ritual, shaman Felix Rondan said that the pandemic will decline next year; however, that is not going to take place in early 2022. According to him, that's due to the variety of strains of the disease.
The shamans also performed the ritual of "cleansing" from the negativity of international relations, especially the tensions between Russia and Ukraine. The rituals were performed over the images of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. president Joe Biden.
"It will be a very favorable year for all countries. There will be very good progress in health care, and conflicts will subside. There will be peace, tranquility and everyone will be healthy," shaman Andres De los Santos said.
