Taliban fighters continue to capture the government-held territories

The US Department of Defense immediately sent 3,000 servicemen to Kabul International Airport for evacuation of most of the US Embassy workers, as Talibs push onward, capturing the territories under control of the Afghan government. The Voice of America reported that citing John Kirby, the Pentagon spokesman.

Three motorized battalions are to arrive in Kabul within the next 24 hours.

Kirby added that US Department of Defense will also send more military transport aircraft to assist with evacuation of the Embassy workers, and the Afghan citizens who enjoy the right to move to the United States.

In the view of the escalation of military conflict in Afghanistan, Ukraine's Ministry for Foreign Affairs calls on citizens to leave the territory of the Islamic Republic as soon as possible. This is mentioned in the statement on the Ministry's website.

"Ukraine's Foreign Ministry persistently recommends citizens of Ukraine to refrain from all kinds of travels to Afghanistan until the security situation is stabilized, and those who are still in this country should leave its territory immediately", reads the message.

The authority also claimed that all citizens of Ukraine who face immediate danger to their lives or health or any other sort of situation that demands consulate reaction should urgently turn to Ukraine's Embassy in Tajikistan, which is the closest Ukrainian diplomatic office to Afghanistan.
