The military drills and missile tests conducted by Ukraine are transparent, while Russia’s claims on the issue are unreasoned. Michel Baldanza, the spokeswoman for U.S. Department of Defense, said this as quoted by Interfax news agency.

‘We saw these messages about Ukraine’s military exercises over the international waters. Besides, we are aware of Russia’s claims due to these transparent drills. Russia’s constant erratic and deceiving claims continue to distract the international society from the Russian aggression, which is the real problem,’ she said.

The Pentagon’s representative recalled that the U.S. recognizes Crimea as part of Ukraine, condemns its annexation and demand to stop the Russian occupation.
