Reporters of Pershiy Nezalezhniy TV channel are not allowed into the session hall of Pechersk district court of Kyiv where the judges choose the restriction measure for Viktor Medvedchuk, the MP and Chairman of Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life party.

"The situation next to the court's building is very tense. Our camera crews arrived there among the first ones. But despite the fact that we prepared all the necessary documents so as to efficiently cover these events, none of our crews have been let inside so far", says correspondent Yelyzaveta Budas.

Currently, the reporters are trying to find out why they are not allowed to work in the court's session hall. According to Budas, only the media controlled by the President's Office were allowed to cover the court's work.

"So we can assume that this is a political pressure on the media, because currently, we cannot cover the events in the court's building. We know that the case has not been delivered to the session hall now", the reporter said.
