Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy is on an official trip to Japan. He visited naval base in Yokosuka and discussed military cooperation issues with the Commander-in-Chief of Maritime Forces of Japan. He reported this on his Facebook page.
"My working visit to Japan has started. I visited the naval base in Yokosuka city and Teruzuki ship at the invitation of Maritime Forces leadership. Although Japan is far from Ukraine, we have a lot of things in common, particularly, that is the common enemy — threat for the whole free world — Putin Russia. We also discussed military cooperation with our Japan partners. The experience gained by Ukrainian Armed Forces during hybrid war with Russian imperialist is very valuable for our Japan partners," Parubiy wrote.
Chairman of the parliament believes that the cooperation and exchange of experience between the Maritime Forces of Japan and Ukrainian Navy will only improve further.
