Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov considers it necessary to involve Poland and the United States in negotiations on Donbas. He stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"The participation of the United States under the new presidential administration, taking into account certain commitments under the Budapest Memorandum, and Poland, which will soon chair the OSCE, can induce Russia to sit down at the negotiating table and finally reach an agreement, and not just block all processes," Reznikov said.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that Ukraine is interested in creating additional alliances that could benefit it in terms of ending the war.
Currently, the combat situation in Ukraine has worsened, and the peace process stopped. Arsen Avakov, the Interior Minister of Ukraine said so in the evening show at 1+1 TV channel.
"There's no peace process here anymore. Mortar strikes and sniper activity are observed. The war is going on," Avakov said.
According to him, due to the ongoing escalation in the Joint Forces Operation area, President Volodymyr Zelensky was forced to send Ruslan Khomchak, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
