Representatives of the previous Verkhovna Rada delegation to PACE, which were included in its new composition, plan to attend the PACE session. The MP from European Solidarity fraction Oleksiy Honcharenko reports this on his Facebook page.

“Ukraine’s interests must be defended. Therefore, those representatives of the old delegation who have joined the new composition, including me, are going to attend the session to represent the position of Ukraine. I consider it unacceptable that the Kremlin’s position would be heard on such an important international venue as PACE and our position will not sound. I also consider it important that the new head of the Ukrainian delegation Yelyzaveta Yasko also take part in the session," Honcharenko said.

"Having no other possibility for reaction on the violation of the own organization's principles and facing with quite enough ignoring of its interests, Ukraine is abstaining from sending of its delegation to the next PACE session," he wrote.

Yelyzaveta Yasko, the MP from the Servant of the People political party, was appointed as the Head of the Ukrainian delegation
