The no-confidence resolution to the Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka is being considered by Ukraine's Parliament at the extraordinary meeting. 17 of the 25 members of the profile parliamentary committee voted in favor of taking voting into the parliamentary session hall. 112 Ukraine TV channel is broadcasting the parliamentary meeting.

Earlier, 277 Ukrainian MPs signed up to the project "On Confidence of the Prosecutor General". The resolution states that the efficiency of the Office of the Prosecutor General is low, and it does not correspond to the position. Ruslan Ryaboshapka himself called the likely dismissal a "politicization of the prosecutor's office."

As we reported before, today the Verkhovna Rada has accepted the resignation of Oleksiy Honcharuk from the post of Prime Minister and his government. 353 MPs voted "for" the corresponding draft resolution No. 3158.

Later, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Denys Shmyhal as the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Also, Newly-appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal and members of his government have taken the oath. The PM read out the text of the oath at the Verkhovna Rada after the support of the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers by the majority of votes.
