Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament is to gather for an extraordinary session on Tuesday, July 14. This is mentioned in the decree by Parliamentary Speaker Dmytro Razumkov.
"Due to the demand of 158 lawmakers of Ukraine... to gather the extraordinary plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, for 3 p.m. July 14, 2020", reads the decree.
The MPs will consider six draft laws, such as: on the improvement of conditions of support of power production from alternative sources of energy; on digital trade of medications; on changes to the Law of Ukraine on state support of Artek and Moloda Hvardiya child centers in conditions of the Covid-19 quarantine; on increasing the size of scholarship and annual assistance for orphaned kids and children deprived of the parental guard. The remaining bills concern the work of digital offices and simplification of work of entrepreneurs and submitting changes to certain laws on the development of physical education and sport.
