The State of Palestine announced it was breaking all deals with Israel and the USA - including those on security matters. The local news agency WAFA reports this, citing Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

According to the politician, the reason for making such a decision would be Israel's intention to annex the Palestinian lands; and the U.S. supports this move. He claimed that since now, Israel was taking entire responsibility before the international community, as an occupant forces.

In January 2020, U.S. President Donald Trump revealed the conditions of the "deal of the century: that was supposed to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. One of the conditions was to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Jewish settlements on the Palestinian territory, and Palestine's refusal to continue the armed combat.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Premier, supported the U.S. leader's offer. Palestine rejected.
