The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe passed the resolution, which decisively condemns the terrorist activity in Ukraine, which is inspired by the Kremlin. Georgiy Logvynsky, the Assembly’s vice president and Ukrainian MP, reported that on Thursday evening.

PACE condemns Russia for terrorist acts in Ukraine. This is clearly said in PACE Declaration No.14257, which I created. MPs from all political groups of the Assembly, except for the united leftist group, condemned actions by the Russian special services, designed to eliminate Ukrainian MP Anton Gerashchenko. Georgian MPs confirmed there were similar cases in their country, when Russian special services used criminals and former prisoners from the occupied territories to conduct terrorist acts and assassinate the irrepressible people. Our struggle continues,’ Logvynsky wrote at Facebook.

The official added that the key objective of the Ukrainian side now is to ‘repel the aggressor and avoid destruction of the country’s future’.

Previously, the PACE passed the resolution about functioning of democratic institutions in Ukraine.
