PACE refuses to hold debates on Salisbury, illegal election in Crimea, - Ukraine

The Bureau of the PACE refused to hold the urgent debates on the request of the UK, Ukraine and other countries on the poisoning of ex-GRU officer Sergey Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury and illegal election in annexed Crimea. Volodymyr Ariev, the Chairman of Ukraine's Delegation to PACE reported this on Facebook.

'PACE Bureau by the votes of the socialists and left-wing representatives refused to hold the urgent debates on the request of the UK, Ukraine and other countries on the Salisbury issue, the illegal election in Crimea and other topics. All this takes place amid the corruption scandal in the PACE of the bribery and the candid lobbyism published yesterday where the Western MPs are negatively mentioned and any Ukrainian was included', Ariev claimed.

The spring PACE session will take place on April 23-27. it is expected that the Donbas Conflict, Russia's election in occupied Crimea, hybrid war and fake news will be discussed.

Earlier Ariev filed an appeal to hold the debates on non-recognition of the Russian presidential election in the annexed Crimea.
