The vaccination campaign has already started in 114 countries around the world. According to the publication, the average world vaccination rate is 7.93 million doses per day.
In the United States, 90.4 million doses have been administered so far, with the latest vaccination rate averaging 2.15 million doses per day. At this rate, it will take about six months to reach 75% of the population with a two-dose vaccine.
The leaders in the number of introduced vaccines are also China, the countries of the European Union, Great Britain, and India.
The leaders in the number of doses per 100 people are Israel (96.01), Seychelles (85.12), United Arab Emirates (58.36), Maldives (40.76) and Great Britain (34.93). In Ukraine, this figure is 0.04. In our country, since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 17,947 people have already received the first dose of the vaccine.
Vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine began at the end of February, and an electronic vaccination registration system was recently launched. According to Prime Minister Shmygal, in the first five days of the system's operation, more than 155 000 Ukrainians have already used it. The service of registering on the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19 is available to citizens in the Diya application or through the national contact center for countering the pandemic.
