The party believes that to stop the pandemic it is necessary to balance the budget, preserve the economic potential and guarantee the social protection of citizens

In order to promptly stop the spread of the pandemic and minimize its consequences in Ukraine, it is necessary to protect people, balance the budget and provide resources to fill its revenues, preserve the economic potential and guarantee the social protection of citizens. To do this, it is necessary to:

1) guarantee social protection of citizens

– to introduce state regulation of prices for socially important goods, primarily for food, medicine, to prevent unjustified price increase and abuse of monopoly position;

– to organize a system of contactless home deliveries of basic products and medicines to single pensioners, elderly citizens, and people with disabilities;

– to pass a law on writing off citizens' debts for housing and communal services submitted by our party to the Verkhovna Rada;

– to unblock social payments for residents of temporarily uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and to allow crossing the delimitation line with the mandatory medical control, to index social payments to internally displaced persons;

2) ensure add to the budget revenues

– to lift the economic blockade of the uncontrolled territories of Donbas;

– to withdraw from the regime of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation imposed by the European Union, to which Ukraine has joined;

– to resume trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation, mutually lifting the restrictions imposed on economic activity, thereby ensuring the return of Ukrainian goods to the markets of Russia and the CIS countries;

– to adopt amendments to the law on the state budget for 2020, reducing the cost of maintaining the state apparatus, and provide additional funds for financing healthcare;

– to adopt the bill proposed by the Opposition Platform - For Life, which limits payments to officials within an amount not exceeding 10 minimum wages;

– to limit the outflow of speculative capital from Ukraine;

– to ban the withdrawal of dividends by non-residents;

– to introduce a tax of 18% on income from government bonds for non-residents and natural persons;

– to negotiate with foreign creditors on the restructuring of external debt.

3) in the sphere of healthcare it is necessary:

– to stop the implementation of the criminal medical reform of Poroshenko - Suprun, the closure of hospitals and medical facilities;

– to guarantee and implement emergency medical assistance to all citizens of Ukraine in accordance with Article 49 of the Constitution of Ukraine;

– to establish a mandatory excess fare of 300% of the salary to medical workers involved in combatting the pandemic;

– to organize testing of people for coronavirus in all regions of Ukraine;

– to provide medical facilities with necessary means, medicine and equipment.

4) to support small and medium-sized business it is necessary:

– provide a postponement without sanctions on all taxes for small and medium-sized businesses, except VAT, for 6 months;

– reduce single tax and SSC (single social contribution) for small and mediu-sized enterprises;

– delay loan servicing for business for 6 months with a ban on raising the loan rate until the end of the year;

– increase direct subsidies and tax benefits for the agricultural sector.
