Oppositionist arrested in Russia for calls for Putin’s impeachment

An opposition politician Vyacheslav Maltsev was arrested in Russian Federation. Before that Russian law enforcers used an angle grinder to get into his apartment in Saratov, reports Free News agency.

“About seven o'clock in the morning, law enforcement officers sawed out the door to the politician's house and took him somewhere ... They had the necessary order with them,” the message says.

Maltsev himself wrote about his arrest and search in his flat on his channel in Periscope.

The investigator of the regional Investigation Committee, Ilya Litvinov showed Maltsev and his wife a ruling on search in the frameworks of the criminal case, which was issued by the Moscow Basmanny Court. It was not yet specified under which article the criminal proceedings were opened.

Earlier it was reported that during the previous elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation Maltsev on the air of federal channels called for impeachment of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier Russian law enforcers arrest 60 people in Crimea, including journalist, lawyer. Police took away passports of these people and detained in “E” Center in Simferopol.
