Head of Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin announced the plans to develop railway traffic with Russian capital Moscow and Saint Petersburg as TASS reported.

“The development of the direct railway traffic with Russian is planned. First of all, it means no change; the traffic is planned, particularly, with Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The system is developed and I hope we will be able to use it soon,” Pushilin stated.

At the same time, according to RBK, the representative of the Russian railways refused to comment on the information about the development of raid road communication between Russia and temporarily occupied Donbas.

However, representative of Chief Counter-Intelligence Department of Defense Ministry Vadym Skabitsky reported to Ukrinform that there is information about the preparation for incorporation of the railways of the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republic into the Russian railway traffic.

Earlier the railway station has resumed its work in occupied Donetsk after five-year hiatus. It is noted that six suburban trains will ply to Olenivka and Mandrykine.
