Norway to allocate $4 million to Ukraine for health care project

The government of Norway will allocate almost $4 million for the financing of the cooperation with Ukraine in health care as Ukraine’s Ambassador to Norway Viacheslav Yatsyuk reported on Facebook.

The money will go to the improvement of the physical and psychological rehabilitation of the wounded Ukrainian military.

According to Yatsyuk, the expenses tied with the rehabilitation of the project will be distributed between two countries.

According to him, the most important for Ukraine is that one of the main goals of the project is the improvement of the services of Ukrainian medicine in the sphere of the physical and psychological rehabilitation of the Ukrainian military and other affected.

Moreover, the project provides cooperation in the protection against infectious diseases, prevention, and treatment of some kinds of diseases.

As we reported, Germany will provide Ukraine with 1.5 million euros for the purchase of medical equipment. 

Earlier, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said that the European Community had made the largest investments in Ukraine
