Pyongyang rejects the offer of the South Korean government to fix the interstate relations, as the initiative ‘lacks sincerity’; Ri Yong-ho, the North Korean foreign minister said that as quoted by BBC Russia.

‘Under these circumstances, when the South Korea cooperates with the U.S. in terms of putting pressure on North Korea, such initiatives look insincere,’ the North Korean official said.

A brief meeting of the two foreign ministers took place in Philippines, as the capital city Manila hosts the ASEAN regional security forum on Monday; the North Korean aggressive stance is going to be the key topic of the forum’s agenda.
