Energy Minister Oleksiy Orzhel, Executive Director of Naftogaz-Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov entered Ukrainian delegation in Normandy Summit in Paris, as 112 Ukraine reported citing Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
“Concerning the delegation, I know that there will be issues on gas and so on. Orzhel and Vitrenko entered the delegation. As necessary, they will participate in the discussion of the gas issue and other issues concerning them,” Tymoshenko said.
He added that in the case of necessity, the advisors would help Zelensky and they will be present at the leaders’ meeting when their issues will be discussed.
“We have a large delegation, members of the delegation depending on the issues, which are discussed, may change; in other words, the advisors may come to Normandy talks and help the president concerning the definition of the issues. Bakanov (Security Service Head – Ivan Bakanov – 112.international), Avakov and Khomchak (General Staff Head Ruslan Khomchak – 112.international) are present. We have a large delegation and we are ready for all issues,” Tymoshenko stated.
The leaders of France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine will meet in Paris on December 9 for the first time in three years in the attempt to intensify the efforts in the search of peace settlement of Donbas Conflict.
Two bilateral meetings are planned: Angela Merkel will meet Vladimir Putin (4:00 p.m. Kyiv time) and Volodymyr Zelensky (4:30 p.m. Kyiv time). The Normandy Summit will last for three hours.
