Scheduled for December 9 Normandy format meeting of the countries' leaders will be held in the Palais de l'Élysée in Paris. This was reported by the French presidential administration press service, Paris Match informs.
"Palais de l'Élysée confirmed that the summit on the Ukrainian issuewill be held in Paris on December 9, 2019. It will be attended by French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky," the statement said.
Russian agencies TASS and RIA Novosti, citing the French side, report that the meeting will begin "in the early hours of the afternoon" and will last until the evening. The detailed program of the summit was promised to be announced later.
It is expected that the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky will meet face to face for the first time.
On November 28, it was reported that Zelensky had discussed with Merkel the preparations for the meeting.
Earlier President of Ukraine has outlined four main issues that he plans to discuss at the meeting in the Normandy format.

According to him, first of all, specific dates for the return of all Ukrainian prisoners, including those, who are not confirmed by the other party, but who are on Ukrainian lists, will be discussed.

The second issue is related to the long-time ceasefire in Donbas. "You know, a temporary ceasefire for two or three days, and then they started firing, and we started losing people. I mean serious ceasefire, a serious ceasefire. With clear terms and responsibilities," the president said.

In addition, he plans to raise the issue of giving Ukraine control over the entire length of the Ukrainian-Russian border. Zelensky also wants to discuss the possibility of holding local elections, as he noted, "already within the territory of Ukraine, not in the temporarily occupied territory".
