Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov is confident that it is possible to hold the next Normandy Summit in August. He stated this on the air of ICTV TV channel, RBC reports.
"I am convinced that it is possible to hold such a meeting in August. It is possible provided that we are really taking steps towards it. I do not idealize our opponents in the negotiation process and I understand when they procrastinate and when they really want to achieve something," Reznikov said.
At the same time, he reminded of the main condition for holding the next summit in the Normandy Format - fulfillment of the conditions of the last summit that took place in Paris.
As we reported earlier, on July 4, Berlin hosted negotiations between political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries.
Negotiations of political advisers in Berlin lasted about 10 hours. Dmitry Kozak represented Russia, German Advisor to the Chancellor Jan Hecker came from Germany, Advisor to the President of France Emmanuel Bonn represented France, and the Ukrainian member was Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
