Former Ukrainian fighters of Donbas conflict shall rally near the Champs Elysees at noon

The meeting of the Normandy Four shall take place today in Paris.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin will come to the capital of France and hold talks for the first time in three years.

According to the correspondent of 112 Ukraine TV channel, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will arrive at 14:50 local time (15:50 Kyiv time), then the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will arrive. The last to arrive is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Bilateral meetings are planned: Angela Merkel will meet separately with Vladimir Putin (16:00 Kyiv time) and Volodymyr Zelensky (16:30 Kyiv time). The tete-a-tete meeting of Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky is still up in the air.

The meeting of leaders of 4 countries will last 3 hours.

At noon former ATO fighters will gather for a protest near the Champs Elysees. They came from Kyiv in order to prevent Volodymyr Zelensky from making concessions to Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky said earlier that Normandy Four leaders will discuss the return of all Ukrainian prisoners, a ceasefire, control of the Ukrainian-Russian border and local elections in the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions that are not under the control of the Ukrainian authorities.

The last time the negotiations of the Normandy Four leaders took place on October 19, 2016 in Berlin.
